A few short years ago, Cynthia Maurice couldn’t sleep. Her $20,000-a-year job as a dental assistant meant Cynthia and her family lived in a paycheck-to-paycheck world that allowed little room for savings. So after a month of window-shopping at a local jewelry store, Cynthia was done waiting--it was time to buy. When she went inside to finally make the purchase, however, she discovered a different type of gem catching her eye--an emerald. Why? "When you see someone step out of their comfort zone and inspire someone else to do something they didn’t think they could do, that’s really awesome. We truly grow when we’re out of our comfort zones," Cynthia says. "It’s really exciting, because it’s a big decision for most people. Often times they have never owned their own business before, so to see ordinary people making an extraordinary income with this business is like opening a gift on Christmas morning. It’s really exciting to get people started."

Achieving success using The Six Figure Income School is a breeze according to Cynthia. But she admits she didn’t exactly go about it the right way. Cynthia spent the first few weeks immersed in the training. Though training certainly has its benefits, Cynthia says if she could do it again she would start marketing right away (another lesson she stresses to her team members). And just like the team members she coaches today, Cynthia saw immediate results once she began marketing.

"Every month look at what we can do," says Cynthia, who will be spending next Easter weekend with 20 family members in a cabin she and Patrick rented in southern Ohio. For Father’s Day, she bought Patrick and Alex a matching set of golf clubs and the two spent the whole day on the links. Cynthia, of course, spent the day at the spa with her daughter-in-law, Nikki.

It’s often said that once the children are out of the home, it’s time for the parents to sell the house and live out their golden years in a smaller residence. Cynthia and Patrick have no such plans. In fact, the high-school sweethearts are combing the market for something bigger.

Cynthia Maurice traded in her career as a former dental assistant to start a home business...and she couldn't be happier.

Cynthia knows firsthand what it's like to work hard. After years of serving in the dental industry for her $20,000 annual salary, she and her husband decided to go into business for themselves. Wanting the freedom of being their own boss, they took out a bank loan for over $600,000 and opened a family restaurant. Although they had the financial success, they also got more than they bargained for: employees, paperwork nightmares, and zero vacation days.

"It was killing us." Cynthia says of the demanding job. "We knew we couldn't continue to work 90 to 120 hours a week." So the couple sold the restaurant, and while Patrick took another job, I began looking into other options.

They considered starting another traditional business, and were close to borrowing an additional $400,000 when the couple asked themselves some serious questions.

We said, "What are we doing here? Do we want more employees and more debt while remaining tied down?". Cynthia recalls.

Rather than going the corporate route, she began looking online for a solution. When she discovered this business, a company which offers online education, Cynthia knew she had found the answer.

Cynthia says the company's solid history appealed to her, but she also puts it simply and say, "The money was really, really good. At that time, Patrick was considering going back to school, so Cynthia knew she needed an opportunity that was portable so she could work from anywhere. The company offered everything the couple wanted, and the start-up costs were low to boot. "We had nothing to lose and everything to gain," Cynthia says.

She signed on in October 2005 and haven't looked back since. "I really absorbed all the training I was get. I was like a sponge," Cynthia says. "I had no experience in this industry at all, so I wanted to learn everything I could."

She didn't even rely on her family and friends, preferring instead to use the leads generated through the company. "The training and support here is phenomenal," she says. "It's a simple and easily duplicated system. I've kept it even simpler and I'm still making great money."

Within 12 weeks, she had earned $10,000, and by March of this year she recorded her first six-figure month.

"After a year of doing business, my husband knew we'd make more money doing this than he would if he went back to school and got a degree," Cynthia says, adding that Patrick was more than happy to keep a job he loves and help Cynthia with the business on the side.

Although this business is my full-time career, Cynthia really only works part-time hours. "The time I spend actually talking to people on the phone is about two to four hours a day, four days a week." she says.

She uses her free time to do things like treat her daughter-in-law to a day of shopping and pampering at a salon, something she would have never been able to do in the restaurant business.

"We were there [at the restaurant] before the store opened for the day, and we usually didn't leave until one or two in the morning." she says. She and Patrick never took a day off. Now, thanks to financial and time freedom, the couple travels regularly, by visiting places such as Canada, California, the Bahamas, Dallas, Las Vegas, Cancun, and Panama.

"That's the great thing about this--you can do it from anywhere," Cynthia says. "I just take my laptop and I do business while I'm away from home." She urges anyone interested in changing their life to contact her and find out just how simple it is to make great money.
